"Yes. Also dressage, wrestling, a steeplechase aaaaaand~" He smirks as he lifts his eyebrows to his cousin. "Marksmanship. It's your favourite isn't it?"

"I do enjoy archery," she smiled, "The other events should be entertaining to watch. Wrestling isn't that common at these things is it?"

[Maester Hubert]

"Mhmhm, well the King's married to his sister so you'd think he'd have vested interest in his safety. I mean, even if King Robert would have the right to question his loyalty." he shrugged, draining his cup empty. "Or maybe it's the queen why Jaime gets to keep his white cloak. Robert needs to keep Lannisters happy. Money talks."

"Still, the King is a braver man than I," and the maester chuckled once more.

[Lord Bromley Meadows]

Kylie lowered her eyes, smiling widely at the praise. "It's our pleasure, truly. I thank you greatly for the invitation. My parents both fare well these days, my Lord. Each year for the Festival of Roses we try to see as many friends as possible. My mother mostly takes the opportunity to visit Grandmother Olenna, and my father with her. But Lord Merryweather commented on your celebration on during his most recent trip to The Arbor. I knew then yours would be my first choice."

"Well, that was most kind of Lord Merryweather, I shall have to write and thank him. Tell me, dear, how is our dear Queen of Thorns?" he asked genuinely.

[Leovall Marten]

Not being entirely sure Leovall turns to Terrance to get the slightly older man's opinion.

[Terrance Stone]

"I couldn't say." he shrugged. "It likely depends on the host."

[Maester Simon]

"Still, the King is a braver man than I," and the maester chuckled once more.

"And I. And many others." Simon admitted. "Regardless, his reign will give historians a lot to write about."

[Jynessa Tremaine]

"Of course, milord." And with that, the interview seemed to be over.

As Marten sat back down, he could sense Mari's unhappiness. He gave the smallest of sighs. Ever since she was little, he'd had a hard time resisting her moods.

He cleared his throat. "You mentioned something about a hunt, Mari? Some of our fellow guests seemed interested?"

"Hm?" she snapped out of her moody reverie. "Oh... right. I spoke with the visitors from the Vale," Mari inclined her head slightly towards the Martens, "some of them seemed interested in it. I thought it might be a good idea? Socialise more and all?"

"That sounds like an excellent opportunity to me," Jynessa chimed in. It appeared that she was content, for now, with letting their liege lord attend to other business. "How often do the Knights of the Vale get to roam the countryside here?"

[Maester Hubert]

"And I. And many others." Simon admitted. "Regardless, his reign will give historians a lot to write about."

"You're as astute man, Simon, I like that." He clapped the younger man on the shoulder again, even more roughly than before.

[Marten Tremaine]

"Hmmm..." Marten looked across the room, his gaze settling neutrally on the young men. He sighed. They grew up so fast...

"Indeed." He said, smiling. "A fine idea. Perhaps you'll handle the introductions then, Mari?"

[Mariessa Tremaine]

"Ah... certainly, father," she nodded, a little nervous for not having done that sort of thing before, but certainly willing to do give it a try. Mari glanced to Jyn, her voice lowering a little. "... It would probably be more proper extend such an invitation later, and do the introductions then, yes? They seem busy?"
