"Me, too," she agreed with a smile. "You know, I've never had the opportunity to try it. You'll have to show me this."

"Oh! Your father mentioned it might be all right if I joined you for lessons. Would you mind?"

[Mariessa Tremaine]

"I've only done it a few times with my sister, but it will probably be even more fun with you too," Mari chuckled.

Then she smiled brightly as Alicent spoke of the lessons "Of course you are welcome to join us! I think Maester Simon is planning on having one tomorrow, so please, join us. I think he would appriciate a student that is more attentive than I."

[Alicent Feyther]

She laughed at the idea, picturing the expressions. Settling back into a smile, she said, "Thank you. It means a lot... Not just for being able to add that much more to what I've learned, but also for the company."

[Mariessa Tremaine]

"I'm more than happy to, Lady Alicent," she chuckled warmly, enjoying Alicent's laughter. "Honestly... I think the company will do us good. Now that it's just the three of us, it's... we easily get into the same routines and same moods, if that makes sense?"

"Someone else might just help a little with breaking the sameness of each day."

"I think I understand... You get into patterns with the people you're around all the time."

[Mariessa Tremaine]

Mari nodded. "Yes, exactly!"

"And... when those patterns are kind of depressing, it's nice to have some change. Besides," she smiled brightly, "father spoke well of you. I think he might be a little worried you didn't seem to have anyone your age travelling with you."
