Settling in (Day 4 LE)

[Liliane Marten]

"Patience," she said cryptically, "And I got the squire we brought to tie the knot at the top."

She stands there in her slip. "Much better. Turn around while I toss on a nightgown."

[Leovall Marten]

"You must have left him stammering."

He steps back, giving her a bow. "As you wish my lady." Then he turns around and takes a few more steps away.

[Liliane Marten]

"Oh, he was flustered," she said as she put on a nice light gown and tied the few simple bindings into the decorative bows they were intended to be, "I can't believe they intended me to wear these dresses and sent no handmaiden along."

[Leovall Marten]

"We could look to hire one for you. Frankly you could use a dedicated servant."

[Liliane Marten]

"Well... I suppose it couldn't hurt. Though it seems a late hour to do something about it," she noted apprehensively.

[Leovall Marten]

"I meant to start tomorrow. Besides, you would have to change again." Still standing there dutifully facing away the young knight stretches his arms.

[Liliane Marten]

"True, I am going to need help with this new dress too," she said double checking that everything was properly sorted out.

"Okay you can turn back around."

[Leovall Marten]

“Is it complicated?” That would likely make it more expensive. He hoped she had been reasonable.

He turns back around appearing thoughtful.

[Liliane Marten]

"I don't think it is particularly complicated. It should be very elegant looking," she paused, "...and a bit light and airy. Well, maybe a lot light and airy." She giggled.

[Leovall Marten]

"I'm just glad you're pleased." And he meant it too. Walking back over to her he might surprised her as he suddenly pulls her into a big hug. "I want to see you do your best tomorrow. Give it your all, okay? I'm proud of you Lili."
