"I trust both of you to help me sort of out the good ones from the idiots," Mari smiled and patted her sister's shoulder.

Especially since he's going to be... ugh... lord of our house, officially.

[Marten Tremaine]

"Right, then. That's settled. No idiots for either of you." Marten nodded, holding back a smile.

"We'll figure something out." Marten said. "And the House needs a line secured, to be sure... but our situation isn't so desperate. After all, you'll probably have me around for a while yet. It's not like you and any husbands you have will have to fend for yourselves."

He sighed. "And you've both stepped up this past year, too. You'll do. Both of you."

Jyn smiled. "We will have to make sure that Mari's husband is a dashing knight, of course."

Or a handsome hunter, Mari mused to herself with a shy smile, even if she knew it was still a bit too early to say. Terrance was charming, but... he had the good fortune of having made a good first impression on her. Question was if he would keep it up.

"As long as he is a good and honorable man, who can serve our House well, I am happy... but I do admit I have a bias for them being handsome," she confessed with a girlish giggle as she exchanged smiles with her sister.
