On the hour, Simon appeared before Mariessa's tent, bearing a bundle of scrolls under his left arm and chair he had dragged from his tent on his right. He laid the chair down and coughed audibly, hoping to summon the two ladies who indeed had an appointment with him and his scrolls.

The maester didn't have to wait long until Mari opened up the pavillion's entrance. "Oh... is it time already?" she said with some surprise, and made sure to tie the entrance open so that it would be easier for the others to enter too. Inside, Mari's falcon was ferociously devouring some strips of meat she had clearly just fed to her.
"By the way, I invited along a young lady from House Feythers to join us for our lessons. I am certain it will not be a problem?"

Jynessa overheard the arrival of the Maester and headed over from her own tent. She glanced at the falcon with a tinge of disapproval before putting on a smile for her sister and the maester. "I hope your day has been pleasant so far, Maester."

"Ah, good day mi'ladies." Simon offered a bow to both Mariessa and Jynessa before stepping into the tent and propping the chair down by the entrance. "Glad to see you both awake and eager to learn." his eyes darted to Mari for the briefest of moments. "You brought your paper and ink with you, I hope? I did remind you about that." his tone was soft as his long fingers leafed through his scrolls, searching for the one they had been working on before leaving for the tournament. "Lord Marten would not want you to miss your lessons after all."
"Ah someone else? I cannot see how that could be a problem. As long as she brings her own chair."

Said someone else soon appeared at the pavilion entrance with papyrus and ink for note taking herself, dressed in a
light gown in a color similar to the field of her family's coat of arms. "Pardon me. I hope I'm not to late."

Simon's eyes darted to Alicent, then to her garment that didn't leave much room to imagination and finally settled on her scrolls. "Uh, Lady Alicent, what a coincidence." he blinked few times, his gaze drifting between the bosom of he dress and the scrolls she was carrying. Inhaling, the young man turned to the Tremaine girls. "Mi'ladies, as it happens I met lady Alicent the other day. She admitted having great interest in scholarly matters." His eyes bored to Mari. "Such aspirations do great honor to her house."

Mari rolled her eyes. "Yes, I did," she sighed, turning around to fetch paper and writing utensils... as well as another chair for the newcomer. At least the other two girls were given a friendly smile. "Ah, good afternoon, lady Alicent," she curtsied and set out the chair for her. "You're right on time."
She would much rather prefer to be anywhere else than having lessons right now. They were at a tourney and they still had to have lessons! But, Marten had expressed that it was no reason for them to slack in their education. I wanted to look at the knights practising... sigh...
"Oh, how wonderful," Mari smiled as it was revealed that the two of them had met. "Well then, introductions would be a little redundant then!"

She curtsied to the assembled group before taking the offered seat. "Thank you... We did, though I'm not sure I would go that far." It was mostly an inconvenience to her house. "I don't believe I've met your sister." She curtsies to the other lady. "Alicent Feyther. Pleased to meet you."

"Mmhmh, please take a seat lady Alicent." Simon nodded with a faint smile on his lips, his eyes already focusing on the pile of papers in his lap.
He let the girls exchange pleasantries, remaining quiet until they in turn, quieted down. Looking up from his papers, Simon regarded his audience. "We have been going through Maester Vaben's 'Houses of Reach and Their Arms.'. It's relatively recent text, written eight years ago or so. So, we can take comfort int he fact that maester Vaben is up to date." Simon explained, slowly unfurling a scroll filled with neat lines of text. It was a basically a catalog, yet every word was something the Tremaine girls would have to remember. At least if they wanted to avoid sounding like fools. "Mi'ladies, how many major houses there are in the reach?"

Jyn turned her face towards her sister and obscured her face to the others by adjusting her hair. She perked a brow, one that asked,
Why do we have a guest for lessons? in their adopted twin language. She then looked back to Alicent and put on a smile. She gave a curtsy of her own and announced, "My name is Jynessa Tremaine. A pleasure."
She took her spot and then pondered on the question. She gave a faint smile before stating, "Sixty. There are certainly plenty of houses."
