Unlike her sister and father, Mari had still been mostly sober when going to bed and had woken up refreshed and well-rested. So... she waited a few hours into the morning before checking up on both of them, and made sure to have a light meal brought to Marten's pavillion for the family to partake in together.
"Jyn? If you're up and about, there's food waiting for you in father's tent," she said with that annoying chipper tone that non-hungover people didn't have, before she moved over to Marten's pavillion in time for when the meal arrived.
"Oh thank you," she gave a smile to the servant, before raising her voice. "Father, are you decent?" Last thing she wanted to do was to walk in on her father in a... compromised position.

From inside his pavilion, Marten winced. In truth, he'd already been up. A bucket of water had been provided for him, and he was splashing it liberally on his face. He was dressed, and more or less ready for the day. But it did seem as though his daughter's voice was just a bit louder and higher than it needed to be.
"Yes, yes, I'm decent." He grumbled as he tossed open the front of his pavilion. He looked awake enough, his beard still a little damp from his attempted hangover cure. He favored Mari with something that was half smile, half grimace. "Breakfast? Good, good." He waved vague invitation towards the inside.

"Goodness," she huffed disapprovingly, seeing Marten's face. Mari let the breakfast be set out and the servant be excused before she continued.
"You look worse than last time I saw you drinking with Kevith! Really, father, at your age..." his daughter tutted, though there was certainly a good amount of innocent teasing to her words.

Jynessa came to the tent fully ready for the day. Any amount of discomfort from last night was being hidden behind a social mask. She dipped her head to her father and smiled at her sister as a greeting. "I suppose I should thank you for taking the liberty of arranging food," she stated, her usual charm apparently dulled.

"Well, you need a healthy meal after last night," Mari smiled back at her sister, then in turn looked at them both. "Both of you."

Marten grimaced. "Don't you start." He grumbled. After a moment, shaking his head, he smiled. "Or at least, if you do start, kindly start very quietly."
This time his grimace was semi-apologetic. "Perhaps I did overdo it a little. I swear, every time I looked away, my cup was full again. It's a good thing that woman happened by with the tonic." His expression brightened a little as he settled himself at the little table in the middle of the pavilion, large enough to eat at.

Mari's eyes narrowed as she sat down too, more interested in what Marten was saying than the breakfast. "Mm... who was she?"
She had seen the two of them, after all... and Mari didn't like admitting that it had made her upset and suspicious all at once. For some reason, it had made her think back to mother...

Marten hesitated just a moment, suddenly feeling as though the usual dynamic had reversed.
He shrugged. "Her name was Shana Crane. One of Lysa's ladies-in-waiting. She has been for some time apparently; it's a wonder I never saw her before." He shrugged again. "But, I suppose when we visited I didn't spend much time with Lysa, either."
"She seemed nice." He said, his tone neutral."

Jyn frowned. "Yes, I would very much like to know more of her too. I can ask around as well, if need be."

"Hmm... maybe we should have Kevith chaperone father from now on," Mari mused, pouring drink for them all.
