Festival of Roses

Claryssa made her way through the drizzling rain. The hood of her cloak was pulled up and she was wearing the boots she'd used on the ship.

Arriving at the Marten pavilions, she called from outside Leovall's tent. "My Lord, it's Claryssa. May I enter?"

"Yes, please do." Standing up to greet their momentary guest he gives both of his cousins a nod too. "Let's get swiftly to business when we arrive." Welcoming the handmaid with a bow he is dressed well for tea, as instructed.

Liliane gave a curtsy. "Welcome to our humble home away from home."

Claryssa entered and did a deep curtsy. Looking around she was glad they were all in one place. She forced a well-practice bright smile and chipper voice. "My Lady Kylie would like to invite all of you to tea. She has it set up in her pavilion if you would care to join her."

Her eyes communicated what her words and smile did not - this would be no ordinary noble gathering.

Terrance nodded in greeting, then in agreement. "That would be nice."

It wasn't in his nature to be deceitful, but the secrecy was necessary based on what had been noticed. Maybe only they knew? Well, surely the maester investigating too...?

"We would be delighted."

Claryssa dipped her head. "My Lady will be so pleased to hear it. If you are all ready I can escort you now. I believe the servants have finished setting most everything up."

She didn't know Lady Liliane, but if she was with Leovall and Terrance she doubted there was anything to worry about. She genuinely smiled the girl's way before opening the tent flap for everyone. "Are you bringing anything I might carry for you, Lady Marten?" She was a handmaiden after all.

Good help.

Clearing his throat Leovall moves to the tent flap, lifting it for the others. He was keen to arrive without delay.

Terrance was ready to leave.

"Oh! Well let me get my cloak and we shall be away," she said dashing over for the long hooded forest green cloak.
