Liliane had had a wonderful evening dancing. Now tired and a little drunk she had to get out of her gown. Untying all the little hidden clasps on the outer shell, extracting herself from that, removing the frillier outer slip, she sighed and took a seat still in her corset and slip. "Auntie could have sent me a handmaiden to go with this dress," she grumbled as she filled a cup with wine.

"It's me." Leovall calls cheerfully, heading straight in and only pausing after a few steps. He had drunk and danced well too. "Erm..."

She laughed. "Well if you have already seen you may as well stay. I might get you to help undo this thing though," she said tugging down on the corset.

"Um, right." Leovall straightens his shoulders and walks in with a slight blush. "I wanted to talk. Erm, ask your thoughts on Ser Rychard and to see how you're finding things." He finds a spot to stand. He also tries not to stare. Growing up together and being the same age they'd seen plenty of each other, but never so far from home.

She smirked. She'd have to admit the corset served its purpose to her mother after all. Seeing Leo squirm a bit would be worth it though.
"He is nice. I haven't met many of the other men about most seem to be leaving the ladies to chat amongst themselves. Have you?"

Leovall gives it a couple moments of consideration before replying. "They're an odd bunch. They all went to the tavern after the wrestling rather than try to woo the ladies with their successes. I think they're either married, already betrothed, shy or strangely not interested." Like Dale. He clears his throat. "I agree he is nice, but the Bridges are far from us. He's not an unlanded knight."

"Oh? He is not of sufficient use to the family then?" she asked sounding disappointed, "Perhaps we should have stayed closer to home and looked into if there is an unwed Royce of some ilk?" She gave him a look as she crossed her arms and pouted.

Lifting his hands in front of him he looks back to her carefully. "Come now, I don't know Lili. That would be up to your parents. To me it's simply a long way to form a connection - look how little we interact with the Varners now. He's also unlikely to want to swear fealty to our House... so yes, an unwed local nobleman would be better. Or an unlanded knight without family expectations." He crosses his arms too. "Do you ever know if Ser Rychard is in line to lead his family? If he has siblings? You could enquire about his family a little more."

"Well, no... A girl isn't supposed to be doing all the work on her own courtship you know," she sighed, "I hate fiddly succession details."

"You're allowed to ask questions about him." Leovall points out, smiling. "A simple tell me about your immediate family would probably do." Sighing and shaking his head, amused his cousin could actually be socially awkward at times, he lowers his hands. "I actually came because I wanted to ask you about the ladies present. If you'd gotten to know any. I've been looking out for knights too."
Gesturing to her fiddling around he smirks. "Struggling?"
