Mari kept a cautious stride as she approached Simon's tent in the morning. A night's rest had been good, but there really was something to the saying of you're going to feel it in the morning.
"Maester Simon?" she asked, clearing her throat.

"Hmhm..." a groggy man pushed his head out, his chain clanking as he did so. "My'lady, how can I help you?" Simon blinked few times before stepping back and pulling the flap inside, letting Mariessa in.

Stepping inside, Mari eased a little in her posture, as she was clearly keeping a strong face after the beating she took.
"Ah... if it's not too early, I wondered if you could help me a little?" It was very typical of her to try to keep a nonchalant tone as if nothing was wrong. It wasn't the first time she had gotten into a scrap and needed a healer, after all.

"Uh, no. Please come in." Simon murmured, stifling a yawn. As she entered the tent, he let the flap fall down providing them some privacy. "Help mi'lady?" Simon squinted, trying to see if she what was that she actually needed.

She nodded slightly. "It's the leg... if you could look at it, please. I don't think it will heal on it's own," she murmured.

"Very well." Simon turned to rummaged through his supplies. "Please undress yourself." then he gulped. "At least enough that I can see your leg."

Nodding, Mari seemed to have thought ahead with dressing as she only needed to part the skirts of her riding outfit and take off the breeches. It allowed her more decency than dressing down, though it was still quite a lot of meg to show. The thigh had recieved a painful cut from Caim's sword, and the armor and padding had stopped the worst of it.
"Should I sit down?" The girl tried to act as nonchalantly as possible even if it made her rather nervous.

"Yeah, that might be a good idea." having retrieved what he needed, Simon exhaled deeply and turned to Mari waiting her to sit down. Once she had seated herself, he began to run his fingers over her injury. "Mhmhm... mi'lady was... fortunate not to get hurt any more badly." he swallowed less kinder words even as he pressed the wound gently to see if it was infected. Then he sniffed the wound. "Nothing too serious mi'lady, though you might want to avoid... dancing for few days."

She flinched a little at the looking, but this wasn't the first time she had been hurt.
"Mm... I will keep that in mind. It's not infected or anything?"

"Not anymore than it should be mi'lady. Small infection happens always. It's only bad when wounds begin to fester." he plopped open a small vial and dampened the cloth with it. "Might sting a bit." Then Simon proceeded to lather Mari's wound with cheap, strong red wine. "That should clean it. Now then..." Simon picked up some
broadleaves from the ground and tossed them into a mortar. He added something from a small pouch and scraped something sweet smelling from a jar to create a curious mixture. Leaving the mortar to the side, he took a needle and thread. "Still, I think it's better if I knit this. It'll heal nice that way. Stay still and bite your arm if you don't want to be heard."
Allowing Mari a fair warning he threaded the needle. "Now would be a good time." Hoping she'd follow his instructions he began to hum, working his needle through the healthy tissue. Slowly but surely, he knit Mari's flesh, pulling the thread tight so that her wound narrowed down. "You'll likely have a scar here for a while. A long while."
