Still carrying his bundle, Simon scurried across the keep. He stopped every smallperson he met, inquiring about Ser Kenway and undoubtedly annoying quite a few of them. Eventually he managed to find someone who had talked with Kenway not too long ago and could point him to the general direction of the elusive knight. Eventually he came upon the master of arms at a courtyard where he was in process of drilling the Meadow guards. Seeing that he was busy, Simon leaned to a wall and waited. When Kenway left his men to spar, the young maester approached him, clearing his throat before speaking. "Ser Kenway, one of our men at arms found something yesterday morning. I was supposed to show this to you earlier but then the melee happened." he nodded at the direction of the keep. "And well, everyone got busy." He handed the wrapped knife to the other man. "I peculiar knife, with a vial of poison hidden within the handle."

Kenway narrowed his eyes, "you're the Tremaine's maester, right? Let's see what we have." He took the knife, unwrapping it and examining it carefully. "This- this is dragonbone, weapons haven't been made with dragonbone for decades. Where did this come from?"

His eyes widened. "Dragonbone? That doesn't make sense. I mean, I do believe you good Ser." Simon stammered. "Kevith, the man-at-arms says he found by his tent." he replied honestly, spreading his hands to indicate he was clueless. "Why would anyone drop anything that valuable there is beyond me. Maybe someone stole it and had to discard it for whatever reason?"

Frowning, "slow down, maester. Can you tell me exactly what he found? Where's this man now? I think I should speak to him."

Inhaling deep and exhaling again, Simon replied. "By tent is what he said. Chances are you can find him at Tremaine pavilions. He took quite the beating yesterday."

Kenway sucked his teeth for a moment and shook the small vial, "it was empty when you first saw it?" He indicated for Simon to lead the way back to the Tremaine pavilions.

"There were few drops remaining. I asked maester Hubert if I could borrow his study to look into it, but he was... occupied. Understandably so." Meadows kid was on a deathbed after all. No wonder Hubert had been shaken. As they walked, Simon told Kenway the little he knew.

The man was stern, but he listened attentively to everything that Simon told him as they walked. He was alert, eyes taking in everything around them without losing concentration.

Kevith was reclining outside the pavillions, relaxing in his time off as he was giving his wounds time to heal properly. Some of the Tremaine dogs were bundled up around him, waiting for scraps from his breakfast.

"That's the man." Simon pointed at the burly man-at-arms. "Kevith." he hailed Mari's 'protector'. "Looks like you are going to have to tell Ser Kenway here everything again." he shrugged, figuring that Kevith would understand.
