[Rayley Meadows]

Rayley reached over and took Jynessa's hand, "careful, you don't want that hitting you all once. Lysa and Lord Bromley prefer their wines strong."

"Oh, of course." Jyn looked at the hand and then lowered her glass. She suppressed the redness in her cheeks to the best of her ability and kept her eyes on the wrestling. "Oh, if only father was up here. I would jest about him doing well despite his age." She let out a nervous laugh. "He would not appreciate that."

"Are you all right, Lady Jynessa?" Rayley spotted the blush, "I should have warned you about the wine."

[Mariessa Tremaine]

Mari had been a little oblivious to Rayley and Jynessa's conversation, as she had been so caught up in watching the wrestling. Not only to cheer on Kevith who seemed to be putting many of the young men to shame with his strength, but also... oh my, half-dressed men!

Not that she hadn't seen it before, but since the men were putting on a show, she might as well enjoy it. Oh my, she blushed a little behind her wine glass as she saw Harben strip down to join the matches.

"Well, father's joining too, I see," Mariessa noted as she saw Marten getting himself ready for a match.

"It may be the heat." She looked to the sky for a moment and then closed her eyes. "Perhaps it is the fact that there are half-naked men on the field."

Mari leaned closer to Rayley and Jyn, her voice dropping to a conspiratory whisper as she barely held back a giggle. "But that's the best part!"

Rayley squeezed Jynessa’s hand comfortingly and waved for the servant to bring something less strong for the younger twin. “I’m married now, the only man I have eyes for is my husband,” she nodded.

"I suppose that is right and proper that he is the only man you have eyes for," Jyn mused before taking a sip from the new glass.

Rayley tittered, blushing. She’d heard stories of ladies, married and no, who took certain pleasure with their handmaidens and ladies-in-waiting. She hid her red face behind her goblet, sipping slowly.

[Mariessa Tremaine]

Mari cast a side-glance to her sister and Rayley, a little surprised at some of the words... which made her speechless enough.

Looking back to the matches, she winced as Kevith pinned down Harben with ease.
