“Faith yes,” he insisted, “but what I lack is experience.”

Clearing his throat, he didn’t seem to know how to answer Jynessa’s question, but his eyes betrayed him, flicking to Mariessa for a moment before looking down into his lap. “I suppose to Lady Lysa, in honour of her engagement?” his mouth twisted wryly, the word engagement taking on an almost pained inflection.

Jyn swallowed and looked over to her sister, her expression blank but her eyes full of bewilderment. What do we do, Mari? was the message in their twin-speak.

Mari felt similarly bewildered a moment, having caught Harben's flickering gaze. He's... probably just looking for support, right? Think fast!

"I suppose that is a fine sentiment, ser Harben. Many knights probably wish to do the same, unless they have someone specific they wish to dedicate it to," she glanced to Jyn with a small smile. "But I suppose a better question is instead whose favour a knight hopes will bring them luck?"

Finding himself outnumbered, I’d rather face down their father in the lists, than answer such awkward questions. Harben was definitely blushing now. “Oh, well, I, uh, I don’t, that is...” his cheeks reddened further.

The eldest twin giggled, shooting Harben a brief wink. "It's alright, you don't have to answer that now."

[Kylie Redwyne]

"You think I'm interesting? Boy, do I have you fooled," she said, shaking her head and giving a self-effacing chuckle. "I'm interested in the entire thing, but my brother, Caim, is participating. The really tall, dark-haired man on a tan coarser with black legs."

"... We don't look much alike."

Kylie giggled. "Come, be fair now. You're a beautiful, kind, well-traveled Lady of a House in good standing with intellect beyond what is simply expected. What is there to be bored about?"

Jyn was unable to help but laugh as well. "You are letting him off gently," she stated with a wide grin, "But alright, I agree. We can spare Ser Harben of further torment."
