“It’s only flattery if I’m exaggerating,” he teased jovially. A frown came over him, “it’s a shame you’ll be leaving so soon, I don’t suppose you’d like to join me for one last time before you go, with your chaperones, of course. Have you ever been fishing?” His mouth twisted wryly, “unless you plan to leave first thing tomorrow?”

"I don't think we are in that big of a rush and a fishing trip sounds fun. I have never really been fishing. We don't have any rivers back home just the bay and bay fishing is all weirs and big nets," she said with a smile.

[Marten Tremaine]

Shaking Marten's hand, Bromley broke into a very rare grin, "good to have you back," he quipped as he shook his vassal's hand and handed over the prize purse. The lord then direct Marten to turn towards the crowd, who stamped and whistled, the stands shaking under the crowd's feet.

"Thank you, my lord." Marten said, shaking his hand firmly, still smiling. "It's good to be back."

He took a moment to move over to Kevith, clapping his old friend on the back, before moving back to his daughters in the crowd.

"Well!" He said, giving each a big grin, one after the other. "So, what do you think of your old father placing first in the joust, eh?"

[Mariessa Tremaine]

Mari chuckled, exchanging a knowing look with her sister.

"I guess you're not as old as you led us to believe, father," she teased.

[Marten Tremaine]

"Ah, well." He shrugged, grinning. "When I was your age, thirty-nine certainly seemed old enough."

He looked almost curiously at his right arm, frowning as he flexed it experimentally. "Actually, I didn't know that I still had it in me."

[Jynessa Tremaine]

"Our family does strive for excellence," Jyn mused. She glanced at his muscles and then looked over to her sister with a solemn look. "I wonder if Lawrince would have won the title instead."

[Ser Rychard Bridges]

"Excellent," he answered with cheer. "I know a great spot upstream from the town, we can snag the prime catch before they reach the fishermen's nets."

Mari's smile was solemn as well. "Hm... maybe? He would certainly have placed in both the melee and the joust," she said with some confidence. She still had a rather idolized view of their older brother, after all.

[Marten Tremaine]

As usual, his younger daughter managed to somewhat dampen Marten's spirits. Not entirely, though.

"He would have done very well, to be sure." Marten said, still smiling. "Very well indeed. He was a talented lad. Young man, I suppose." He shook his head. "But I think I think it doesn't shame his memory to say that I don't think he'd have beaten me, yesterday."
