[D5, LE] Just a Few Rounds

[Terrance Stone]

He shrugged again. "So it seems. I did speak with her father today. She and I had discussed bringing our families together to go hunting. Lord Tremaine seemed to like that idea, as well."

[Leovall Marten]

"I'm not opposed." He keeps his voice neutral. "It would be a good opportunity for you to clear the air."

[Terrance Stone]

"It may help us forge some ties between the Tremaine's and the Martens." he shrugged. "A good hunt's always nice, regardless."

[Leovall Marten]

"They're a long way from us so I doubt ties can grow very strong, but... a family we can trade information with - that would be useful." He taps the table gently, looking more settled. "And yes, a good hunt's nice. Perhaps we can organise one for the end of the festival so as not to risk upsetting our host?"

[Terrance Stone]

"That would probably be best." he nodded. "A nice way to relax after the tournament, too."

[Leovall Marten]

"Will you arrange it?" Leovall queried, easing more back into his chair.

[Terrance Stone]

He nodded. "I need to speak with Mari again, regardless. If she's still interested in a hunt, we'll arrange it."

[Leovall Marten]

There was a nod of agreement from Leovall who otherwise passed the time enjoying his drink and looking around the tavern. He was still a bit disappointed in his cousin.

Terrance did his best to make up for it by buying a few more rounds.

This did help ease the heavy mood. After a few more drinks he was more cheerful.

"Sooo... we ready to heaaad baack?" Leovall asks, clapping Terrance on the shoulder. "Stuff happening tomoorrow."
