Dyrnwyn and Doli waited obediently while Terrance studied the forest. They stood at the edge, ready to venture in once the others arrived. Everyone had expressed at least some interest in the hunt, but this was a busy day. Some might not come, but he was hopeful.
They would only have a few hours to find quarry. However, this outing wasn't entirely about hunting. It was a chance to get away from the festival and celebrate a little before the official ceremony.

Terrance's half-sister followed behind with her bow at the ready. She had a handmaiden to help her get dressed nicely quickly now so this should allow her to pull this hunting trip off.
"What are we after this morning?" she asked with a grin.

"We'll see what we can find." he shrugged. "Deer would be nice, but the dogs can flush out smaller game if we wish. Boar may be a bit dangerous."

The Tremaine dogs were eagerly running around slightly ahead of the Tremaines themselves, sniffing and waiting for command to find something.
Kevith was not accompanying them this time, having wanted his rest, but given the company they would probably not need him to guard them from danger.
Riding her pinto-horse (which looked suspiciously much like the one the mystery knight rode in the joust), Mari was dressed sensibly for the hunt and with her hair in a braid she looked even more like her twin. One of their separating factors was how confident she looked in the saddle in comparison, and the hunting bird accompanying her.

Marten rode along with the rest of the Tremaines and their dogs. Just as he had the day before, after the joust, he seemed positively full of energy.
He gave Terrance a cheerful wave as they drew closer. "Hello there." He called as the two parties came together.

Jyn arrived on top of her own steed, though her mood was certainly not as cheerful as the rest of her family. She watched the dogs with a confused look before looking back up to her sister. "Is this hunt really necessary?" she inquired, "Or, at least, my presence?"

"Yes," Mari giggled. "Fresh air and activity will do you some good. And I think you'll like lady Liliane."
And her sister's opinion of Terrance was important to her too!

"Hello!" Terrance gave a friendly wave. "I'm pleased you could join us."

Mari's smile grew a little as they greeted Terrance and his half-sister. "Terrance, lady Liliane. It's good to see you both again. And really, it is a pleasure to join you for a small excursion."
"... Will ser Leovall also be joining us?"

"I believe so." he nodded. "Unless something has come up, he should be here soon."
