She chuckles a little. "True, though I'm not sure all might see it that way in the current environment. Some might see it as preferable to kill me just to make sure. Better safe than sorry," she noted with a smile. "But on the other hand, it's not as though they actually have anything to do with me in the end."

"I had no idea about that regarding Lady Olenna."

[Kylie Redwyne]

"That's fair enough on both points. I may not be able to speak for my House on many issues, but I know we'd never judge or harm you. If you choose to visit the Arbor, you would be afforded every promise of Guest Right." Kylie told her seriously. "And yes, my Grandmother was engaged to a Targaryen before she was proposed to by my Grandfather, Luther. He was quite in love with her and a Tyrell. Her father saw it as a good match." She explained.

"Has your family given any thought to a body guard, for when you travel at least?" Claryssa asked conversationally. She didn't want it to come out like a threat of some sort.

[Alicent Feyther]

"I don't travel without one of my brothers... they usually regard that as good enough. Father doesn't think more needs to be put into it," she explained. She smiled. "I guess it's a little silly to say, but it would be nice to find love."

[Kylie Redwyne]

"Are you not engaged then? Or do you mean finding love with your intended?" If this beauty was single, that opened up a number of doors.

Claryssa stopped her horse and turned him around to face the girls but not so close that the animals would be uncomfortable. It wasn't long before Kylie's face was turned up in a smile of portent. "Oh, Claryssa, what is she going to think of us?" Sure enough, her handmaid dismounted.

"She might think we have our wits about us." She replied as she made her way to Lady Alicent. Kylie dismounted as well. "My Lady, I can help you down if you need. I wish to show you something."

[Alicent Feyther]

"Oh, I'm not betrothed yet... My parents expect me to return speaking of possible matches, I'm sure," she said with a chuckle.

The stop surprised her. "I can manage. Thank you." She dismounted.

[Kylie Redwyne]

Bringing Alicent around to Kylie, who was still shaking her head, Claryssa went on. "In Westeros, as women, we often rely on men to keep us safe. However, in Braavos many women also know a thing or two. I'll just teach you what Kylie knows. It's very simple."

She positioned Kylie right in front of Alicent. "Now, I may not know much about how the body works, but everyone needs to breathe. If someone is coming at you quickly," she took Alicent's hand and put it to Kylie's throat, "just punch him there."

"As women, we've been taught to be demure and gentle." Kylie told Alicent. "So think of it this way: hit hard. Hit harder than you dare." She had a small encouraging smile. Looking over at her friend, "Claryssa believes strongly that Ladies should be taught self-defense. She's tried to teach me but I'm slightly hopeless. Still, as you don't have a guard, it's probably best you know at least one move." She winked at Alicent.

[Alicent Feyther]

"Ah... All tight. I assume you don't mean literally right now," she said, looking a little alarmed.

[Kylie Redwyne]

Claryssa's eyes widened. "No, no my Lady. I only meant to demonstrate. It's probably strange of me to do something like this at all, but Lady Kylie is fond of you and I would not want to see you harmed, if I could help in even this one small thing." She explained hastily.

[Alicent Feyther]

"Good! Good..." She let out a sigh of relief, her shoulders dropping as she relaxed from the initial alarm. "I didn't this it was like that."

"Sorry... Thank you... I'll keep that in mind if the situation arises."

[Kylie Redwyne]

Kylie's eyes moved to her friend. "I told you she'd think we were horribly strange." her voice lilting to a laugh. "I'm so sorry to confuse you like this, Lady Alicent."
