Simply walking Cole and letting his palfrey tag along Leovall turns back to his cousin and grins. "It's just so warm, isn't it? I finally took my mantle off earlier. Much too hot! It's like the warmest days on the beach. Brings back memories doesn't it?" He enthuses cheerfully as he examines how she was faring. "Hahahaha! You still look so stiff in the saddle Lili."

Lily followed on her pony Shadow. "Riding in a dress is not exactly easy cousin," she quipped back.

"I am beginning to see why such light dresses are so popular. I worry that this isn't a hot day in the Reach and that I will miss the nice cool mountain fogs back home."

The two black horses looked good together, though it looked more like parent and child than anything else. Cole was just so big.

"You could switch to something else when riding. Other ladies do sometimes." Leo replies thoughtfully, scrutinising her looks. "It would probably help your posture too... if it does get any hotter you're going to find some of your clothes unbearable. Maybe you'll have to go shopping for something Dornish?" He goes on to tease.

"Hmmm, maybe I will!" she chided back, "Something nice and airy."

"So what do you suggest then cousin? Riding wise."

This idea thrilled him and he burst into a loud laugh. "HAHAHA! Yes! Wear it to the jousts and flutter it about when my opponents are looking. They might be so distracted they're unhorsed without me doing a thing!"

Still chuckling at the thought of knights losing their balance and forcefully crashing to the ground in heavy armour it takes him a few moments to find his focus. He shook his head and grinned. "Right, riding, right. So, you could always try breeches. I've seen a few of the village ladies wear them when working, and it would then let you use stirrups. Besides, you already shoot better than most of the men." He shrugs having long accepted what Liliane was like.

"Well if you want me to do something like that perhaps you might help pay for it?" she laughed.

"That could work and is what I do at home," she sighed, "I guess both roads lead me to a tailors."

"I did save a dragon for spending money, but you're finding it. Last time I went shopping with you..." He eyed her warily. Having to stand outside shops in Maidenpool for hours had not been his idea of fun.

"Well, it's better than riding about looking miserable and uncomfortable. Yes, we need to be acceptable and well received, but... we're here for fun too. If a man can't accept who you are then sod him." Leovall states gruffly. "Enough others out there. You deserve a good man Lili."

"Just as well," she smirked, "I guess I shall have to show it off to you before you joust so you do not fall victim of it as well."

"Well, hobby riding isn't exactly my thing but the excuse to buy some breeches will not be missed," she giggled, "I guess I am going shopping soon?"

Leo gently clears his throat and replies far too casually. "I wouldn't say no. It's probably a good idea."

Nodding at her comments on shopping he looks up and then back to her. "Spend some time with some of the ladies at dinner later. Get to know one or two you could go shopping with." His attention was draft to Josey and he urged Cole into a trot to catch up with his wayward palfrey. "Josey, come!" She was quickly walking toward the river and staring at it. It was well known that she liked to go for a swim.

"Well, I will look into it then," she giggled.

"While I suppose that is a good idea. You just want me to get you information on all the eligible ladies," she teased as she got Shadow to follow behind the bigger horse, "A clever little plan cousin."
