(D2 EA) One View of the River

It was late enough that most of the fishing was done by the time Alicent wandered down the the bank of the river, finding a place to set down closet and sit, looking down into the river and over the surrounding fields. The thought crossed her mind that she couldn't swim, despite growing up next to the Sunset Sea. High cliffs made getting down to what little shore there was at low tide difficult, and she'd never done anything more than wading the few times she had gone down. The tower was built into the cliff, and the water had always been a vague threat... and sometimes less vague. It was a little bit dangerous to be this close, though it wasn't a fear, exactly... just awareness.
The clear water was beautiful, though, and she liked watching the fish and their movement. So she sat quietly, just thinking for a while, arms folded on top of her knees and chin resting on them.

He had cleaned up a little after the hunt, but a more thorough dip in the river was in order. Terrance rode Llyan along the bank, looking for a nice spot to enjoy the water. Dyrnwyn and Doli followed behind. Seeing Alicent, he stopped to greet her.
"Good afternoon, Lady Feyther."

She lifted her chin from her knees when she saw Terrance and smiled warmly, waving at him. Her
airy orange dress and pale hair ruffled in the breeze. "Good afternoon. I hope it's been a good one... Did the hunt go well?"

"Aye." Llyan stopped and he dismounted. "The feast tonight should be quite good. I hope your morning was enjoyable?"

"Excellent to hear. Congratulations on your success," she said warmly, moving forward until her feet were dangling in the water. "Quiet with everyone out on the hunt, but good."

"I can't recall seeing water this clear." He said, as he looked over the river. "Is it cold?"

"A little bit, but not too bad," she replied. "Not like a meltwater river, I think."

"I would hope not." he chuckled. "That'd be pretty cold. Would you mind, if I sit with you?"

"Please, join me," She invited with a bright smile, moving to the side to make room on the cloth so that he doesn't have to sit on the grass. "Probably most of it's melted except in the highest peaks, anyway... and the North."

He nodded as he sat. "It always seems like mountain streams are ice cold, though."
