Caim was as grim and focused as ever, taking little interest in the stands. He just rode straight and sure toward his opponent, protecting himself as well as he could as he did, and felt the jarring sensation as his spear shattered to shards against his opponent's shield

The pinto steed was spurred into action and faced the Feyther. Both braced themselves defensively and the Mystery Knight's lance seemed to slide off Caim's shield.

Before rolling to see if she is unseated, the Mystery Knight must decide what to do about the 20 points of Damage Caim inflicted. If her Health drops to 0, she can no longer ride and is eliminated without testing to keep her seat.

(Take 1 Wound for -1D like in the melee? Have no chance of staying in the seat either way)

She’s better off taking the full hit and being knocked down to bracket 2, unharmed, for her second Joust.

Rather than fighting against the powerful impact of Caim's lance, the Mystery Knight was unseated by the impact.
