A Fine Time Among the Vines (Day 2 LA)

[Liliane Marten]

"I'll try. Hopefully I don't need a bushy fake mustache and a big floppy hat to do so," she said with a giggle, "I will look forward to the competition though."

[Ser Rychard Bridges]

Bringing his hands up, Rychard made a show of squinting and turning his head this way and that, closing an eye and peering between the large paws that obscured his vision. “I’m sure you could make it work. Maybe you should anyway, make a statement,” he laughed warmly.

As he let his hands fall once more, “I shouldn’t think you have anything to worry about. I happen to know that the Lady Rayley will be riding in the dressage tomorrow.”

She laughed. "Well if the Lady is in the dressage I am sure I could join the lesser events like archery." She paused, "Well, except wrestling. Think of the scandal of that?"

[Ser Rychard Bridges]

“Oh, very scandalous. No knight would dare be seen handling a lady so roughly.” A sly smirk came across his expression, “not to say that such things can’t be fun, when there’s no onlookers to judge.”

[Liliane Marten]

"Oh, well, that is hardly wrestling," she covered her mouth and giggled, "Though I am sure that skill with one might help the other."

[Ser Rychard Bridges]

With feigned shock, "why, Lady Liliane, I would never suggest," but he couldn't finished as laughter bubbled up and interrupted the sentence. Recovering somewhat, "I'm not sure I can wait until the archery contest to see you shoot again. Would you be opposed to joining me tomorrow, or perhaps the day after? We could hunt some rabbits."

"That would be my pleasure. I rarely pass on a chance to do some hunting," she smiled, "And rabbit stew is a fine reward afterward. Don't you agree?"

[Ser Rychard Bridges]

Rychard's face lit up, "yes, I can bring my cookpot, and we can make ourselves a fine stew. The meadows really are beautiful in the late afternoon," he added innocently.

[Liliane Marten]

She smiled cheerfully. "Wonderful! I shall look forward to it. Tomorrow afternoon then?"

"Fabulous," he answered, genuinely keen, "those rabbits have no idea what's coming." He bowed, smiling brightly. "Until tomorrow, huntress."
