[D4 LE] Cooling Off, Heating Up (Western Gardens)

Blushing, Rayley let her eyes slip closed, lips pressing more confidently to Jynessa’s. Her hand found the other girl’s waist, resting there lightly.

Jyn tentatively reached over to place a hand on the other woman's thigh in some attempt to be provocative. She continued with the kiss as well, though she struggled to figure out what she was even supposed to do with her mouth.

Knowledge of one was still greater than none, and Rayley found herself in the unexpected position of relative experience. Nervous and breathless, “oh, Jyn, we shouldn’t, not here, not like this,” but she had to admit she was struggling to tear herself away.

"Right, of course," Jyn stated with a frown on her face. She made the effort of backing away slightly and looking around. "But then, where? Where and when would work?" she asked desperately. She searched her mind for places but her mind was clouded due to a multitude of reasons.

[Rayley Meadows]

Oh, Maiden, or Mother, or whoever I’m suppose to ask, Rayley pleaded frantically. Her heart hammered in her throat, choking her, so her voice was no more than a husky whisper, “tomorrow, during the archery.” She found herself trembling, almost too frightened to continue, “I’ll make some excuse, the Keep will be all but empty.”

"My sister will wonder where I am. But I am sure I can make some excuse as well." Jynessa traced a finger across Rayley's jawline and gave a demure smile. "No one will suspect a thing."

Rayley’s shy laugh was something more like her usual self. She briefly kissed Jynessa’s fingers, “speaking of missed, I must get back to the Hall.”

Jyn snapped her other hand to take one of Rayley's hands with more urgency than she had expected. "Do you really have to go right now?" Her cheeks flushed and she lowered her eyes. "I want this moment to last longer."

Unwilling to return to the noise and lights of the Hall, Rayley smoothed a hand over Jynessa’s hair, “not just yet, but it will be worse if someone comes looking for me.”

"I know, I know, but," the lady trailed off. She forced her eyes shut as she tried to suppress her worry. "I am not sure how I will pass the time."
