by Lord Bromley Meadows
Non-canon Character
The current Lord of Grassy Vale, Bromley is a widower in his fifties. The late Lady Meadows passed when their daughter was still very young, and Bromley has raised their two children and maintained the holdings of Grassy Vale alone for the last twelve years.
Greying and lined, the well-respected Lord is quite thin and will likely grow haggard over the next few years as his age rapidly catches up with him. The last few years has been devoted to readying his son to take over as Lord. While he has been an attentive and generous father to his heir, Elwood, he has been less heedful of his daughter.
As the girl began to grow out of childhood, Lord Meadows relied increasingly on Lysa’s governess - Septa Gwyn - to raise and guide his daughter. Over the years, his insecurity and self-doubt has coincided with the increasing preoccupation with Elwood’s development.

by Ser Elwood Meadows
Canon CharacterThe only son and heir of Grassy Vale, Elwood is a young man of almost 19, and the spitting image of his father at the same age. Elwood recently married Rayley of House Penrose, during his courtship with the girl he became quite close to Ser Cortney Penrose, the two finding common ground over their interests in swords and horses.
Elwood is quite proud and self-assured, and that has only grown since his sweet bride took up residence in Grassfield Keep.

by Rayley Meadows
Non-canon Character
Close cousin of Ser Cortney Penrose, Rayley recently wed Elwood and is now set to become the Lady of Grassfield Keep. She is a sweet and innocent girl of charming beauty, whose interests run to embroidery, flowers, letter-writing, and all the activities one associates with ladies of fine breeding. Septa Gwyn has taken the girl under her wing, teaching her the finer points of statecraft.

by Lysa Meadows
Canon CharacterThe younger sister of Elwood, Lysa is a beautiful girl of 15. Taking after her mother, the fair-headed darling is well known throughout the Reach for her poise, grace, and charm. She is betrothed to Olymer Tyrell, but had a number of prospective suitors right up until the announcement of her engagement.

by Maester Hubert
Non-canon Character
Hubert forged his links only recently. He is quite sedentary, spending his days reading in his solar and taking advantage of the bountiful and sweet fruits of the region. He was never slender, but is now running to fat. He is highly knowledgeable, and skilled with ravens, as one might expect from a student of the Citadel.

by Septa Gwyn
Non-canon Character
Septa Gwyn is Lysa’s governess. Older than she appears to be, the Septa is in her thirties, though her countenance is firm and unlined. She has been looking after Lysa Meadows since the girl was young, tutoring her in the fine manners and statecraft required of her future station. It is Gwyn who is responsible for bringing the girl to the attention of the Tyrells, leading to her betrothal to Olymer.
Known as The Cold Septa (though never to her face) Gwyn’s pious, stoney expression gives away little. She provides spiritual guidance to all of the woman of Grassfield Keep, as well as many of the girls of Grassy Vale.

by Ser Kenway Sloan
Non-canon Character
Ser Kenway is Grassfield Keep’s Master-at-Arms, in charge of the guards and soldiers in service to House Meadows. A stern and unflinching man approaching thirty, Kenway controls the men under his command with an iron fist. He is not the most popular of commanders, but maintains that popularity is meaningless, and that only duty matters. Not the most clever of men, his tactical experience and skill with the blade generally makes up for his failings in other areas.

by Edred Rhysling
Non-canon Character
Serving as House Meadows’ Master of Coin, Edred is a balding man with a tanned countenance that suggests a Dornish heritage. He keeps his head shaved to conceal his receding hairline, a choice that is fooling no one. Frugal, Edred was born to one of the Reach's famous wine-producing houses, showing a considerable head for numbers from even a young age.
