"Lord Bromley mentioned that you seemed quite incensed when you went to visit him. He felt badly for you, cousin, but it did not make a favourable impression upon him."
"You are not at the Arbor," he sighed, "you brought into question his competence, and that of his household guard. Politically, it was unwise. Have you written to you parents? Bromley certainly has, and if your version of events aren't close on the wings of his, you may lose you chance to explain altogether.
