Kylie Redwyne wrote:"Your home sounds as lovely as your gown. " Kylie smiled, still admiring both Alicent and the gorgeous dress. Kylie may have a true fondness for understanding people and their lives - from servants to royals - but she did have a weakness for beauty and parties.

"I have not been down to the river yet. I had thought to perhaps take a ride tomorrow with my handmaid and dear friend Claryssa. Would you'd like to join us?"

Some color was rising to her pale cheeks and it wasn't just the wine responsible, though perhaps she was having a little bit too much. Having so many compliments heaped on her by someone so beautiful was leaving her a little bit flustered. "You're too kind, truly. If the beauty of a place brings out the beauty of those there, then the Arbor must be many times more so than our little patch of land... Would you tell me of it?"

She nodded with a bright smile at the offer. "I would love to, thank you. That sounds like a wonderful way to spend some time."

"Perfect. I look very forward to it." Kylie grinned.

"The Arbor is very full of lush greens and vineyards. The whole island is covered with them. The sand is white, but it's up against palm trees and other green. Except, of course, for the ports and there are nearly as many of them as there are grapes." She laughed a bit. "The villages are lovely and we try to make sure that people are well cared for. I've tried my hand at working the vines before. It gave me a great appreciation for those that manage to do it every day."

Taking a bite of something other than the fish, she found it more palatable. "You and your family must come visit. Those of us in trade hubs must stay close."

She leaned her forearms on the table and closed her eyes as Kylie described it, trying to picture it. She opened them again when she finished, smiling. "It sounds absolutely beautiful. Vivid, beautiful, and full of life," she replied warmly. "So my theory about what sort of people such a place would bring into the world was right." She gave Kylie a small grin. She was tipsy enough to lose her inhibitions a bit. "It sounds like we must. I'm we could use a visit to such a place... and my brother, Bryen could use a break for a short while."

"What's your family like?"

"Mmm. Well." Marten said. "I'd drink to that, but I really feel as though I have had too much."

"Have you been with Lysa long, then? You must have seen her grow up." He said.

Jynessa made her way to where Kylie and Alicent were speaking. She gave a curtsy, as graceful as a drunk woman could manage, and then gave a smile to the Redwyne woman. "You know, I was hoping to happen upon a bottle of Arbor Gold but I had no such luck." Her cheeks turned a tint redder and she gave another curtsy. "Pardon my manners, I am Jynessa Tremaine." She looked over to Alicent and gave the woman a soft smile. "I assume the lessons went well?"

She nodded with an understanding smile, "perhaps some watered ale might be easier on your head." In answer to his question, "yes, I suppose I did, I am a bit older than her," she downplayed the difference in her and the sixteen year old's ages.

Terrance Stone wrote:"It's alright." he grinned. "I'm amazed I didn't bump into you. There may have been a little too much wine at my end of the table."

"Drunk already?" Mari huffed, though she was smiling a little. "And here I thought northerners were supposed to be made of sturdier stuff..."

Glancing around to spot her family, she noticed that Jyn seemed a little too intoxicated too, perhaps. Oh gods, don't do anything embarrassing, sister.

"Drunk?' he shook his head. "Not at all. But, I will admit to being in need of a respite. So much good food and good drink can be overwhelming, though good company helps."

"... Maybe some quiet a bit away from the noise?" she suggested, having first thought to suggest to go get some fresh air but thought it might look weird if they left the great hall during the feast. But getting away a bit while still inside was maybe possible.

"Ah, well," Marten smiled. "Don't think I overlook how important a lady-in-waiting is to a young woman's raising. Surely that's a credit to you, then?"
