[D2 LE] RP Thread: Welcoming Feast

[Mariessa Tremaine]

"I guess not," she giggled.

"Would you say more like him in terms of looks or behaviour? Both Jyn and I look more like mother... our brother though, everyone said he looked exactly like our father when he was younger."

[Terrance Stone]

"Mother always said I looked like him." he shrugged. "She was the only one, though. I have been told that I act like he used to at times. Not always as a compliment. I can be reckless and impulsive, enjoy life a little too much."

He grinned sheepishly. "Maybe be a little too honest."

[Mariessa Tremaine]

The Tremaine girl giggled in response at first.

"Nothing wrong with honesty, I say. I don't like people lying or being insincere."

[Terrance Stone]

He nodded in agreement. "I prefer honesty. There have certainly been times when I've wanted to obscure the truth, but I was never good at it. It's better to just face the consequences of whatever you want to hide."

[Mariessa Tremaine]

"That's... an admirable way to go about it, yes," she nodded approvingly, smiling a sheepish smile of her own. "There have been times I might not have done that myself, but... father always did seem to know if any of us had been up to no good."

[Terrance Stone]

"That's a good thing." he said. "Mother was that way. I didn't like being punished, but it meant that she understood me and cared about what I did."

[Mariessa Tremaine]

"I suppose..."

" But, I should probably to back and make sure father's allright. We do have our next meeting to look forward to, right?" She gave a hopeful smile.

[Terrance Stone]

"I hope it will be soon." he smiled. "Enjoy the rest of your evening, Mari."

[Mariessa Tremaine]

She smiled in return, giving him a small curtsy. "You too, Terrance."

And with that, Mari was quick to join the festivities again, moving through the various groups of people until she could find her family to make sure they safely got to bed that night.
