(D3 EE) Soon the sun sets

"And who we spend time with in the here and now." Chipping this in he pauses a moment before dipping his head gracefully to Alicent. "I somehow feel like we've met before, but I would surely remember a maiden with such striking features as yourself Lady Alicent. Hahaha... sorry, that must sound strange." He scratches his cheek and smiles shyly.

[Alicent Feyther]

"Exactly," she agreed with a smile. She chuckled. "No, it doesn't sound strange. I know what you mean. The name of your House rung a bell as well, but I couldn't place it. I wonder if we did mean at some point?"

[Leovall Marten]

"It's not impossible. When I was squiring to my father I travelled quite often." Her smile drew out more of his own. "Ser Leofwin Marten, if that helps?"

[Alicent Feyther]

Alicent pressed her lips together quietly, racking her brain to try and remember. Then she looked up, smacking her open hand with her fist.

"We have met! A tournament in the Riverlands!"

[Leovall Marten]

It took him a few moments to remember. It was faltering, but there. They had been one of the last to arrive due to various problems during the journey. "I have been to one. It was hosted by the Tullys at Riverrun...?" He checked to see if it was one and the same.

[Alicent Feyther]

"Yes... That's it. I was getting picked on there," she replied with a nod, waves of her hair bouncing.

[Leovall Marten]

His eyebrows lift along with a flicker of recall. "The brats there? I remember whacking them with a stick for tossing a small girl's book around. You were the..." He clears his throat, starting to grin. "Well, the crying girl in the many layered orange dress? Haha! Forgive me, I just haven't thought about it in so long. I remember you looked so miserable and upset. I was really annoyed at them. I must have only been around eleven or twelve myself."

[Alicent Feyther]

She laughed. "Yes, that was it. I thought they were going to ruin it, and they let me bring a book from those we've collected so rarely..." She shook her head. "I haven't thought about that in ages, myself. I'm honored to be able to meet my hero from back then again."

[Leovall Marten]

"You flatter me hahaha. I was only doing what any good knight in training would do." He crosses his arms and continues to grin. "I felt bad that the cover was scuffed, but you had been pleased all the pages were fine."

[Alicent Feyther]

"It's the 'good' part that too many people lack," she assured, reaching out and putting a hand on on his forearm. "Well, covers are meant to be scuffed in the end. They're to protect what's really valuable within."
