On a White Horse [EA 5]

[Alicent Feyther]

She smiled at the horse's hesitance. She considered the many possibilities, noting as she did, "If you'd arrived yesterday, you would have had the opportunity to dance with me."

[Ser Lorent Tyrell]

Lorent looked crestfallen, "if you will permit me, I must rectify this grievous failing. I'm not certain how, but I will," he added.

[Alicent Feyther]

"Perhaps we can find a less formal opportunity to dance," she offered with a bright smile that had a bit of a playful edge. He brought out the flirtiness in her it seemed, and she couldn't help letting her mind wander to other sorts of dances. She didn't imply anything of the sort, though.

[Ser Lorent Tyrell]

"Indeed, one only needs music, and if that music is already inside..?" He swept another bow, extending his hand, "my lady, would you do me the honour?"

[Alicent Feyther]

She got up and reached out her own hand, placing it in his. "I would be happy to." She smiled brightly at him.

[Ser Lorent Tyrell]

The knight, dark hair and tanned skin hinting at passionate Dornish blood, drew Lady Alicent into a modest embrace, close, but not intimately so. He moved with a fluidity that was uncommon amongst the anointed, not necessarily more agile, but somehow ...different. Though there was no music, he moved her with grace and charm.

She moved along with him with equal grace, following along with him. She closed her eyes and followed his prompts, smiling and starting to hum a soft tune that matched the previously unheard rhythm they were following.

[Ser Lorent Tyrell]

With all of the field at their disposal, and no one but his steed to see them, Lorent began to sweep Alicent in large, grand arcs. He tried to harmonise with her soft humming, but keeps forgetting the tune, captivated by the movement of the lady's stunning dress, her silver hair. He didn't dare close his eyes, afraid that she might evaporate the moment he looked away.

It was strangely romantic, dancing across the field already beaten up a little bit b the previous day's activities. Even more so than the previous night, practically set up to be one. She looked up at him with a warm smile. The golden flecks in his dark green eyes were rather absorbing t gaze at.

[Ser Lorent Tyrell]

Taking his hand from her shoulder, Lorent carefully smoothed Alicent's beautiful hair. "It's the middle of the day, and the sun is staring down, and yet I fear that this is just a dream. Are you real, Lady Alicent?"
