[Kylie Redwyne]

"I assure you my topic change has to do with avoiding a severe blush I might not be able to hide." Her voice traveled musically.

She followed his lead with grace. "It's refreshing to be around one so honest." She mused. "Where would you say your true skills lie? Aside from most skillfully charming ladies, that is."

[Leovall Marten]

"I'm nothing compared to some knights and noblemen my lady." I can't really say I get flustered around too many women at once. He smiles softly, giving her body a spin by her hand before resuming their earlier steps. "I'm from a military family so I would hope martial abilities, just not archery. It's difficult on horseback. Err... I don't know really." That was lame. "I have trained to ride, fight and command men. Those." Better.

[Kylie Redwyne]

"I hear from my brothers and father that commanding can often be more daunting than using one's sword. It's an important skill to have as a Lord." She smiled, body close to his but in no way inappropriate. She enjoyed dancing, and this one with an attractive male suitor.

[Leovall Marten]

He nods in agreement. "Most men think it's easy until they actually try it. It's not just tactics and shouting orders, but also logistics, keeping up morale, being aware of your troops' needs, scouting properly..." He clears his throat firmly. "Sorry." They weren't usually topics appropriate to polite conversation with a woman.

[Kylie Redwyne]

She twirled. "Don't be. You take your men's safety seriously. I can hardly complain." Kylie grinned.

[Leovall Marten]

"Okay, what about you? Any special talents?" Leovall asks with interest.

[Kylie Redwyne]

"Well, as you can see, I'm a splendid dancer." She winked and giggled, obviously kidding with the knighted Lord. "Aside from the talents expected of a Lady, I can do some of the jobs necessary to be a vintner and work in the vineyards."

[Leovall Marten]

"Impressive. Truly." He knew little of growing grapes other than snippets he had heard from men and women far more experienced with wine than himself. "The dancing too." He adds with a grin.

[Kylie Redwyne]

"I feel it's my duty as a Lady to try and understand those that live from the island." He lead her in a circle before a small lift. "And of course to take care of those less fortunate than we. I quite enjoy giving them a chance to snicker with the noble who utterly fails at clipping grapes properly. I want our people to feel as though they can come to us and we'll truly listen."

"Forgive me, it was my turn to speak of more serious matters. Shall I comment on the music and the decor?"

[Leovall Marten]

"That's a very kind sentiment. Very charitable." Leovall comments, mulling it over favourably. He snickers in the next moment at her quip. "If you like, but I'd rather we speak more about you clipping grapes if it pleases you."
