"Yes, of course. We'll keep your confidence." Kylie agreed. "Is there anything we can do aside from listening?"

"I can't claim to know Ser Lorent especially well, but Olymer surely does. Maybe I could ask after him and try to help find out if there is anything specific that could have to do with you."

[Alicent Feyther]

"Thank you," she replied with a smile to both of them. At the mention of Ser Lorent, she turned a bit red. "Ah, that's all right. I appreciate the offer."

[Mariessa Tremaine]

"Hmmm?" Mari grinned, noticing the blush. "Well, if he showed up in my dreams, I don't think I would complain..." the Tremaine girl giggled, "he is rather dashing."

[Kylie Redwyne]

Kylie smiled and took another sip of wine. "And by that blush I believe Alicent holds the same opinion." She giggled and winked. "And from the looks I saw exchanged, I have a feeling it's a perhaps a mutual view."

[Alicent Feyther]

She turned more red and hid behind taking a sip from her goblet. "It's... well, he is. Very." She sighed a little, lowering the drinking vessel. "Though I had an interest in someone else before now. It makes it a bit complicated."

[Kylie Redwyne]

"Seeing admirable qualities in more than one gentleman can be a good thing to my mind. Not that I would encourage impropriety but certainly speaking with Lorent should not cross any boundaries." Kylie encouraged.

[Mariessa Tremaine]

"Hmmm..." Mari exhaled softly. "I can certainly understand the trouble of having the choice between two good men."

[Alicent Feyther]

"Mm..." She took a long drink from her wine, looking slightly to the side. Well, the impropriety ship had already sailed, but saying so might have been a bit awkward. "Yes... I spoke to Ser Lorent, and..." She smiled. "He was lovely. He seemed very serious at first, but he warmed up quickly. I've also been talking to Ser Cortney Penrose... he seems a bit shy and laconic, but that's also kind of cute. And politically, they both have their advantages and disadvantages..." She sighed.

"Mari, you have a problem like that, as well?"

[Mariessa Tremaine]

Now it was Mari's turn to blush. "Ah well... it's... rather silly, really." She chuckled sheepishly as she bought some time with a sip of wine.

"Since... my brother died, not long ago, there's only my sister and I left to carry on our family after father. As I'm the eldest, I know the pressure is on me..." she sighed. "Terrance has been really nice, but I didn't think he liked me... until last night during the dance. And because I didn't think he was interested in anything like that apart from entertaining the notions of a silly little girl, I kind of... embarrasased myself there. Uhm, then there's ser Harben. We were childhood friends, and I was... very surprised that he was starting to express an interest in me."

Oh, gods, how she wanted to hide now.

"I'm so sorry to hear of your brother. I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't know." Kylie's eyes softened.

Making a sincere attempt to lighten the conversation, "I have spent some time around Terrance. He seems a fine gentleman. Kind, strong, and forgiving. Claryssa and I took him for a knight, and he was most generous in his overlooking our mistake." She encouraged.

"I have not had the pleasure of meeting Ser Harben, or Ser Cortney. But as far as Harben goes, they often say that friendship is a perfect foundation to build upon. I'd say you are both lucky to have such suitors interested!"
