[Maester Simon]

"That's curious..." He lowered the vial, fiddling it in his hands. "Mi'lord, what you think we ought to do with this? Well, to be more precise, do we want to involve Meadows immediately or should we try to snoop around by ourselves first? I think I could find out what this is if I had a chance to visit one of the apothecaries in the town. However, working with maester Hubert would be faster and more certain."

[Marten Tremaine]

After considering for a moment, Marten gave a nod. "See maester Hubert. If there's a poisoner about, we want to see him found as quickly as possible."

He shook his head. "But I don't understand why this came to you, Kevith. That seems strange indeed. You really have no idea?" His tone was doubtful, not of Kevith, but of the situation. It boggled the mind.

[Mariessa Tremaine]

Kevith rubbed his neck as he thought of it.

"Could be a trap of sorts. Someone's jealous after the wrestling?"

[Maester Simon]

"Aye mi'lord." Simon nodded. "May I have the dagger as well? I am sure maester Hubert will ask about it."

[Mariessa Tremaine]

Kevith nodded. "Doesn't feel right that a fine blade like that stays with me... if it helps findin' the one who sent it, then sure."

[Maester Simon]

Simon reached for the knife. "I'll see to it after the melee. I'm sure maester Hubert has time once that's been sorted out. And it's not like anything bad can happen meanwhile."
